I would like to wish to all my dearest Muslim readers, Happy Eid-Ul Adha 1430H. Or in Malay language, we call it “Hari Raya Haji” or “Hari Raya Korban”. This is because both of the word “Haji” and “Korban” are being related to this celebration.

So, lets do some “For Dummies” book style in here. What is Eid Ul-Adha? Well, a quote from Wikipedia (the best source for information, geeks. Haha):

Eid al-Adha is a “Festival of Sacrifice” or “Greater Eid” is a holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.

Eid al-Adha is the latter of two Eid festivals celebrated by Muslims, whose basis comes from the Quran. Like Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha begins with a short prayer followed by a sermon (khuṭba).

Eid al-Adha annually falls on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja (ذو الحجة) of the lunar Islamic calendar. The festivities last for three days or more depending on the country. Eid al-Adha occurs the day after the pilgrims conducting Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat. It happens to be approximately 70 days after the end of the month of Ramadan.

So a day before Hari Raya Haji celebration, after the Maghrib prayers, most of suraus and mosques are having this “Takbir Hari Raya” which also did during Eid-Ul Fitr celebration.

And on the next day, after the Eid-ul Adha prayer and the sermon, most of the suraus and mosques are having this Festival of Sacrifice. Mostly, it is a cow, sheep or camel are being used to sacrifice. Take a look on this video:

Woah! It have been pain in the ass for me to deleted and spammed check my comments page. This few weeks, this blog was hitted by thousands of spam comments. Well, it is my mistake too for not using any spam blocker plugin. I hate spam comments so MUCH.

Well, at first I thought that it would be save for me to let the comments section to be open and auto-approve since this blog is still new and im not targetting keywords in this blog. Hey, this is a personal blog by the way. But maybe someone who is using or testing his Xrummer Palladium software blast the software to my blog.

Then, after I registered for a wordpress.com blog to get the Akismet API pins, the spam comments is gone. So lessons learned, never let your blog open for auto-approve comments without installing any spam blocker plugins. Or else, you need to waste your time to manually deleted all the spammy comments.

The funniest part is that all the spam comments is all about selling viagra pills. Haha. This people should learn the better way to SEO their site. Spamming like this won’t get them anywhere. Hey, this is not a dofollow blog. I hope all this blackhat SEO people learn a better to link build their site.

And there are also someone who keep trying to test whether their spam comments software working or not by using a random domain name. What a waste. Now this blog is open back for comments. The day is save, thanks to Akismet Plugin!

Yeah, it is not about the Halloween Day but it is MY BIRTHDAY! So Happy Birthday for myself. I felt so grateful and blessed that I still been giving a chance to continue my life to another year. And by today I am officially 17 years old. I’ve been in here, on the Earth Planet giving by God for over 17 years. Wasn’t that wonderful and I should feel great about this.

I have been through a lot of bittersweets in my life. A lot of achievements have been enjoyed throughout my life. I love myself so much. Thank you to all the great peoples that wishing me a “Happy Birthday Wishes” today. I woke up and check my Facebook and SMS this morning and felt so touched that a lot of people remembered my birthdate. I love you guys so much.

I felt so grateful for having a happy family, awesome friends, the best teachers, being study in a really great schools, learning a lot of new stuffs everyday a lot more of things that I feel so grateful to The Almighty for gifted me all this.

Grew a year older make me realised that there are a lot more things that I should complete and take all the available opportunity to be more successful person in everything I do for another upcoming year. Wish me good luck!
